Raft the legendary Shoshone rapids deep inside Glenwood Canyon, Colorado's most iconic stretch of whitewater. Punch through back-to-back Class III waves, then mellow into a scenic Class II float toward historic Glenwood Springs. This two-hour guided trip is ideal for families, first-timers, and anyone craving classic Colorado rafting. All gear is included, from flotation devices and helmets to wetsuits when needed. Between rapids, soak up canyon geology, local history, and even a chance to swim in the Colorado River.
Arrive at our river outpost 10-15 minutes before your reservation to check in, fill out waivers, and get fitted with your flotation device, helmet, river booties, and any splash gear you need. After a safety and paddle talk, we'll shuttle you to the river put-in - about a 15-20 minute scenic ride.
Then spend about two hours on the water. Punch through splashy, back-to-back Class III rapids in the crevice of Glenwood Canyon before the river mellows into a Class II scenic float toward Glenwood Springs. A shuttle returns you to the outpost, where you can grab a souvenir - and don't forget to tip your guide!
