Sayulita Surf Lesson Experience

Your Sayulita surf lesson experience begins at the surf school, where you’ll meet your instructor and start with a short classroom-style introduction. Here, you’ll learn essential techniques including ocean safety, wave awareness, paddling, and the pop-up method to help you feel confident before entering the water.

Next, head to the beach where your instructor will guide you step by step through your first waves. With personalized coaching, you’ll practice balance, timing, and positioning while enjoying a fun and supportive environment tailored to your level.

As you progress, you’ll begin catching waves and building confidence in the ocean. The private format ensures that the lesson is adapted to your pace, making it ideal for beginners or those looking to improve their technique.

After your 90-minute lesson, enjoy an additional hour of practice time with your board. This gives you the freedom to continue surfing at your own pace and fully immerse yourself in the Sayulita surf lifestyle.

Surf lessons run in most weather conditions. However, if ocean conditions are unsafe (such as strong currents, large waves, or storms), the lesson will be rescheduled to the next available time.Please note that refunds are not provided, except in exceptional cases such as documented illness or severe weather conditions (e.g., thunder and lightning).
