Embark on an unforgettable journey through Costa Rica’s rainforest, beginning with a magical hike alongside the renowned Rio Celeste. The 7 km circuit trail leads you to the iconic blue waterfall, a striking sight amidst the lush greenery. Continue on to the serene blue lagoon, a calm stretch of the river where the water forms a natural lagoon perfect for pictures. From there, you’ll reach an observation deck offering spectacular views of the Tenorio Volcano and the surrounding mountains.

A circuit trail of 7 kilometers will take us through the forest, to various interesting places, starting with magical Rio Celeste Waterfall, the blue lagoon, a stretch of the calm river that makes a beautiful natural lagoon, followed by the observation deck of the Tenorio Volcano, which offers incredible views of the volcano and the surrounding mountains.
Next come two more unbelievable attractions: “Las Ollas” which are fumaroles filled with boiling mud and finally the “Teñideros” or Dyers, which is the place where the river acquires it unique color due to a natural chemical reaction.
