Inshore Half-day Fishing Charter in Flamingo Bay

The experience begins at the beach in Playa Potrero, where the crew assists guests onto a panga transfer that takes them directly to the fishing vessel. After a short briefing, lines are in the water and the search for Pacific gamefish begins.

Throughout the trip, anglers fish a variety of productive coastal areas around Flamingo Bay and nearby islands. Depending on seasonal conditions, guests may encounter roosterfish cruising the shoreline, snapper around reef structures, or schools of tuna and mahi mahi moving through deeper water.

The captain adapts techniques throughout the trip, utilizing trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, casting, and popping to maximize opportunities. This approach keeps the experience engaging for both experienced anglers and first-time fishermen.

Any legal keepers that are not catch-and-release species can be cleaned and filleted by the crew at the end of the trip, allowing guests to enjoy their catch after the adventure.

Arrive at the meeting point and meet Captain Kevin for a fishing and weather briefing. The captain will review current conditions and recommend the most productive fishing plan for the day.

Fishing begins almost immediately after departure. The boat works along Flamingo Bay and surrounding bay islands, targeting active feeding areas and productive reef systems.

The furthest point reached is approximately 8 miles offshore near the Catalinas Islands. Protected bay waters generally provide calmer fishing conditions.

Fish throughout the entire four-hour charter before returning to shore.

More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund. Between 24 and 72 hours before departure: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund. Seasickness does not qualify for a refund. Guests may return to shore early; however, no partial refunds are provided for unused charter time.

Tours operate in rainy conditions when safe. If weather or sea conditions make operation unsafe, the tour will be canceled and a full refund will be issued.
