Inshore Fishing Charter in Jaco

Your captain will meet you and guide you directly to the boat at Bahía Herradura for a small panga transfer out to sea. Set your lines for snapper, roosterfish, or mahi-mahi while enjoying snacks and cold drinks on board, then cruise back along the coast to shore as the sun sets over the golden-hour water.

• This activity is not recommended if you are a non-swimmer or prone to motion sickness/seasickness.
• Maximum capacity is strictly limited to 6 passengers.
• Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Glass containers, hard liquor, smoking, e-cigarettes, and vaping are not permitted on board.
• Baby carriages, strollers, hand carts, and coolers are not allowed.
• You may observe marine life but must not touch it.
• Catch-and-release is mandatory for all billfish, including sailfish and marlin.
• Only one small or medium-sized, well-behaved pet is permitted per booking.
• Pets must wear a life jacket you provide, and you are responsible for your pet's safety and cleanliness.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
• Coast Guard-approved life jackets are provided and must be worn whenever instructed.
• Your final passenger count must be confirmed at least 24 hours before departure.
• Any outstanding balance must be paid before the boat leaves the dock.
• If you are running late, please contact the Captain immediately by phone or Whatsapp.
• Arriving late may shorten the activity without changing the charter price.
• You will be considered a no-show 30 minutes after departure if no communication is received, and no-shows are non-refundable.

Stop at the place for fishing
Arrival at the key coastal areas at the end of the afternoon. We positioned the boat to troll with the change of light, looking for the sting of active species while enjoying the sunset with a focused fishing strategy and cold drinks on board.

Return to the bay
Navigation back to Bahía Herradura enjoying the views of the coast. Ideal time to relax on board, have a cold drink and appreciate the landscape before disembarking.

Customers can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the trip. Cancellations with less than seven days have a 70% refund. Changes subject to availability.

All charters operate at the Captain's discretion. Your activity may be rescheduled or canceled if sea conditions are unsafe or in the case of severe weather — in that case, you may choose between a full refund or a flexible rescheduling option. Marine forecasts are monitored closely, and you'll be notified approximately 2 to 4 hours before departure if any adjustments are necessary. Heavy tropical rain alone does not automatically cancel the activity when sea conditions remain safe. In the case of a declared national weather emergency, you'll be informed and can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
