Discover Scuba Diving in Orlando

Your scuba adventure begins at 8:00 AM at the confirmed dive location, where you'll meet your instructor and get introduced to the experience.

First, you'll be fitted with the equipment you'll use for the day, including your wetsuit, BCD, mask, snorkel, and scuba equipment. You'll also complete the required paperwork and review the knowledge needed before entering the water.

Before your experience, every participant must complete the required PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning, medical questionnaire, and waiver. These steps are mandatory and must be completed before you can participate in the water portion of the experience.

Once you're geared up, you'll make your way to the water. At one of the submitted locations, this may involve walking approximately 600 meters while carrying your scuba equipment. If you'd prefer a less strenuous setup, the provider offers a more family-friendly spring location with easier access and less equipment to carry.

You'll begin in shallow water where you can stand comfortably. Your instructor will help you get used to breathing through the regulator before teaching basic scuba skills such as mask clearing, equalization, and buoyancy control.

Once you're comfortable and your instructor is satisfied that you're ready, it's time to dive. You'll head underwater with your PADI professional and experience what scuba diving is like in one of Central Florida's freshwater springs.

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 10 years old to participate.
• PADI eLearning: Every participant must complete the required PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning before entering the water.
• Medical Questionnaire: Every participant must complete the required PADI medical questionnaire.
• Medical Clearance: If your questionnaire identifies a medical condition that requires further review, you must obtain physician clearance before participating.
• Liability Waiver: You must complete the required waiver before entering the water.
• Water Comfort: You should feel comfortable being in the water, although previous scuba experience is not required.
• Equipment Carrying: Depending on the dive location selected, you may need to walk approximately 600 meters while carrying scuba equipment.
• Forms Must Be Completed: If you arrive without the required waiver, medical documentation, or eLearning completed, you will not be permitted to enter the water and will not be eligible for a refund.

1. Meet and greet the team entrance to the location at 8am.
2. Start to gear up, fit wetsuits, BCD and Masks and snorkels.
3. Complete knowledge review and sign paperwork
4. Walk approximately 600m with the equipment to enter the water.
5. Start breathing from the equipment in shallow water where you can stand up
6. learn some basic skills with the instructor (Mask clearing, Equalization, buoyancy
skills)
7. Go for a dive and have fun!
