Discover Florida's Wildlife on a Scenic Kayak Tour

As you paddle along the river, your guide helps identify local wildlife that may include manatees, turtles, otters, deer, bobcats, and large wading birds. The Wekiva River kayak tour is known for its biodiversity, and lucky guests may even spot the rare Florida black bear along the forested shoreline.

Halfway through the experience, the group stops along the riverbank for a swim break and picnic-style lunch. Guests enjoy a relaxing moment in nature while sampling homemade snacks such as cookies, meats, cheese, hummus, nuts, and crackers.

The journey continues through the scenic lower eight miles of the river flowing through Seminole State Forest, Wekiwa Springs State Park, and the Sanford Black Bear Wilderness. Throughout the tour, guides provide insights into the surrounding ecosystem, plants, and wildlife species.

At the end of the paddle, guests are transported back to the starting location via shuttle, allowing them to enjoy the full downstream route without needing to paddle upstream.

This tour will go out rain or shine. If the tour is cancelled due to weather conditions, we provide "rain checks" or can rebook you on a different day. The weather is beyond our control, so we appreciate your understanding.
